What do we do when talks about selling a company stand still?

It often happens that a merger of two companies collapses at the finish line due to one detail. In May 2024, we worked on a transaction worth 3.8 million PLN, where both sides stopped calling each other because of a non-compete clause. We enter such situations as a cold, third voice. We don't judge who is right, because in business only the finalized transfer counts. We talk specifically about numbers and what will happen if no one lets go. We don't use psychological tricks, just facts from the audit.

We work behind closed doors until both parties are ready to sign documents at a notary. We respect the time of CEOs, so we don't hold unnecessary meetings without a specific agenda.

How do we bring the parties back to the negotiation table?

Our method involves separating emotions from financial interests. Often one of the partners simply wants to save face in front of the employees and is looking for a dignified exit. We help frame the message so that no one feels like a loser. We close disputes, we open businesses. In October last year, we managed to bring back to talks two partners from Lodz who had not spoken to each other for 7 months. The transaction finally took place 12 days after our first mediation meeting.

When is it worth calling us?

Every case starts with a short analysis of documentation and a telephone conversation. We don't promise miracles if the conflict is purely legal and requires resolution by a court. However, if the problem is a lack of agreement between people, the chances of success are around 67%. This is a real result based on 47 cases that we conducted in the last quarter. We conduct conversations in the office at Jerozolimskie Ave. or at the client's headquarters. Sometimes one session is enough to unblock a process worth several million PLN.
